Prayer for Relationship Restoration

Prayer For Relationship Restoration: Have you ever prayed for someone to come back into your life?. A relationship that was so real and so meaningful, but then it ended. It didn’t end because one of us stopped loving the other – we both still love each other very much. But in the course of life, sometimes things change and this is where we are now.

“If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men” (Romans 12:18).

Prayer for Relationship Restoration

PRAYER FOR RELATIONSHIP RESTORATION

Human society is created to exist in harmony. Anything that disrupts this balance will definitely affect the lives and productivity of the people.

God is a restorer of relationships, which means even when our relationships are completely broken, He can make them new again. I want you to know that God has a plan for every relationship, whether it is between a husband and wife, a parent and child, or a friend.

I’ve also had my heart broken more times than I care to remember. It always hurts, but I’m thankful that God isn’t using the hurts in my life. He uses them to mold me into a better person.

GOD CAN RESTORE ANY RELATIONSHIP

You have probably been the victim of relational betrayal. Maybe you’ve been betrayed by someone that you shared a close friendship with, or maybe even a family member. Sometimes it is an employee who has gone against your vision for the organization and it might even be the other way around probably you are not the victim but you have victimized others.

No matter what it is, we can choose to forgive and move forward. Regardless of how many times we’ve messed up, God’s plan always includes restoration.

Factors that Promote Healthy Relationships: There are basic factors that enhance good relationships between
humans. Some of them are:

1. Love;
2. Trust;
3. Integrity;

When these are tampered with in any way, relationships grow sour. And at that point, prayer is one of the steps towards reconciliation.

PRAYER FOR RELATIONSHIP RESTORATION

Thanksgiving:

Father, thank You for the people You have made me know and relate with. Thank You for good times
together in Jesus name.

Forgiveness:

Lord, I lift up to you the relationship between (mention name) and I. I am sorry for any part I have played in causing distance or pain in our relationship. Please help me as I try to make things right. Please show us how we can come together again.

“And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is
indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us
from evil” (Luke 11:4).

Let any of them who felt offended by me have the heart to forgive me and help me to know and make amends and restitution wherever I need to do so in Jesus’ name.

Lord, please forgive me for making mistakes in our relationship. I have failed to communicate with my (name) or have been overly critical and judgmental. Forgive me Lord that I have not stood up for you and your love in the relationship.

Strength:

I call to God, the most merciful and loving to give me the strength in this ordeal and guide me on how best to resolve it. Strengthen my relationship with my (name) by giving us wisdom, patience, and understanding of each other’s needs.

Help us resolve our conflict:

Lord, I don’t know what to do, because I’m in a very difficult place. I want things to be good between us, but it seems impossible for us to resolve our differences. Please help us overcome this difficulty in our relationship. We have made mistakes and caused each other pain, yet we both love you and want to honor you through the decisions we make. Please help us resolve our conflict with your grace and mercy as we seek your guidance together.

Healing:

Father, heal my heart of every bitterness and pain caused by anyone and heal everyone whom I have hurt. Let every scar be erased by your blood. Help us turn toward one another with humility and compassion as we work through this difficulty and strive for unity

Love and peace:

Let our love for one another be revived and let the brotherly love that bonded us before be restored now in Jesus name. I want to be an instrument of your love and peace. I need your help to do this

“Let brotherly love continue” (Hebrews 13:1).

Appreciation:

Thank You for answering my prayers. In Jesus name, I have prayed. Amen!
